The City and County of Denver is the 19th largest city and metropolitan area in the U.S., Capital of the State of Colorado and home to over 735,000 residents. Located in the South Platte River valley at an altitude of 5280 feet, it is often referred to as the Mile High City. It boasts more green belts and parks than any other city in the nation. It is also home to the nation’s third busiest airport, world class sports and entertainment.
