Listing web sites:
Almost every new buyer we work with wants to see one or more listings found on Zillow. Our first step is to check every listing status on REColorado. Invariably, throughout our buyer agent relationship, one or more of the listings found on Zillow will be sold or expired. Zillow is frustrating. In an attempt to show “more” listings than other listing sites, they fail to remove sold listings from their site until sometimes days after they have sold or have expired.
It is important to understand that in the Denver area, every new listing entered in the MLS system is created on REColorado. We strongly encourage all our buyers to use REColorado as the original, official, up to date and authoritative source of new listings.
Alternatively, almost every agent who is a REALTOR® in the Denver area is a member of REColorado. As members of REColorado, every individual agents’ web sites, such as ours, provide real time access to the same live data from the REColorado database. They are consistently more up to date than the large commercial web sites such as Zillow, Trullia and others.
